Learn to spin at our beautiful shop set inside a 17th century barn, in Braintree.

This amazing art, which allows you to create your own yarn, is amazingly relaxing and really fun!

Michele, an experienced spinner and dyer, will teach you how to operate a drop spindle using various preparations of fibre. During the class, you will use a low tech method using a CD drop spindle which will be provided for use during the class. You will also be introduced to a selection of fibre preparation methods, and there will be an opportunity at the end of the day to practise a little on a spinning wheel.

This is an all day class, to allow you to really get to grips with all aspects of spinning.

This class includes a 1 hour break for lunch, but lunch is not provided. There is a restaurant on site or please feel free to bring a packed lunch.

You don't need to prepare or bring anything with you to this class - all tools and materials as well as tea/coffee and of course cake are included!
