I really enjoyed this session and learned a lot. It was a little slow at times with a couple of absolute beginners who needed a lot of assistance, which was fine of course. It could perhaps have done with two teachers as I found myself sitting waiting a few times - and it meant that the changing colours part was a bit rushed. The coffee and cakes were fab too! Thank you

I really enjoyed this beginner's crotchet lesson. The class was small with only five of us, all beginner's to crotchet, being taught by Amanda who took as through step by step of how to crotchet a granny square. She spent time with each of us individually helping us through any problems we were having. It was good to try using different crotchet hooks before buying if we wanted to and Amanda also talked us through how to join another colour of wool to our pattern and how to read a crotchet pattern. The coffee/hot chocolate and cake were delicious half way through the session and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. A great way to learn how to crotchet.

Fantastic beginners course to crochet & I was so relieved that I was not the only TOTAL beginner, having never even picked up a pair of knitting needles let alone a crochet hook. Amanda was fabulous, so patient and very encouraging with what we all managed to achieve. It was a lot of information to digest & I probably need another beginners course on order to retain the information. Overall, loved the course, & will do more, once I have mastered the basics.
