Grips too well

It holds fabric tight & secure. Too secure. After I tore a small hole in my worked on aida cloth in effort to remove the plastic clips I resorted to Youtube. Found idea of cutting 4 strips of fabric the length of frame & putting between work piece & the white clip. When you want to remove clip, grip firmly one end of frame & fabric & slide the clip along frame to the opposite end & off the frame & work. Easy when you know how!
The instructions that come with frame do not offer any idea to getting your work in progress off.
All in all, the actual frame works really well. No de-tensioning mid-see & very light & comfortable to use.
