Good needles to work with

I use KnitPro Symfonie wood needles for pretty much all my knitting. The 11.5cm length are good for most work and there are shorter, 8.5cm length ones available for smaller pieces, such as neckline and sleeves.
The needles have a smooth finish of lacquer over the wood. So they are light weight for long knitting sessions and the yarn slides over them well.
What is a disadvantage is how the size numbers do quickly wear off the needles.
So having a size gauge to hand is a must.
