A layer cake has forty-two pieces of fabric per pack and each piece is ten inches square. Moda fabric ranges have up to forty different fabrics in a range and there are forty-two pieces in a layer cake. You will receive at least two duplicates from the fabric range, however when a fabric range has less than forty fabrics you will receive more duplicates to make forty-two pieces in total.
